A Dream Come True

Hi Friends,
My 3-year-old daughter, Jasmine, amazes me every day. In all my travels around the world as a fashion photographer, I’ve never seen anything more beautiful than watching her grow up.
She loves school, plays with her friends, and dreams of becoming a doctor and a ballerina — there are no limits to what she can become!
As a father, it pains me that not every girl has the same chance to enjoy her childhood.
One in seven girls in developing countries is married before the age of 15, which can lead to less opportunity to get an education, and makes her more vulnerable to domestic violence.
We can join together to make a real difference. Last month, thousands of you asked your senators to support legislation that matters to you — and it worked.
Because of you, the U.S. Senate passed legislation to prevent child marriage in developing countries. Thank you for standing up for what you believe in and raising your voice.
Every girl deserves a chance to see her dreams come true.
