Bear Trophy Hunt Opens in British Columbia – Take A Stand!
Posted on April 9, 2010 - Filed Under HSUS

Right now, in British Columbia’s Great Bear Rainforest, trophy hunters are invading the rainforest and gunning down vulnerable grizzlies and black bears that are emerging from their hibernation and forage for food. This rainforest is one of the last tracts of temperate rainforest on Earth, and is home to thousands of species of plants, birds, and animals. One might think that here, the bears could live and thrive in peace, but trophy hunters have set their sights on the vulnerable animals. A growing number of animal and environment protection groups, including Humane Society International/Canada and Pacific Wild, are condemning this senseless hunt, which occurs twice a year. Moreover, a 2009 poll of B.C. residents revealed that 78 percent of the residents who live in the territory where these bears are being killed are in great opposition of the hunt. A stand must be made! Please visit http://www.hsicanada.ca/action_centre/ to take action and help protect these innocent creatures.

Nigel you may not remember me, but I had the privilage of meeting you when I used to work for your mum & dad at “Life Energies”.
You are amazing in what you do. I am so proud to be able to say “I know this young man” and for what he stands for. God Bless the work you do.
I still keep in touch with your mum.
