Kids For Kids

Well it has been a busy week, with the premiere of ‘Generation Free’ on Thursday followed by bunches of press on Friday and of course Kids For Kids on Saturday! Kids For Kids is a New York City tradition that brings together children, families, celebrities, and corporations to rally in support of the Foundation’s lifesaving programs. This year’s carnival was especially poignant as the Foundation is celebrating its 20th Anniversary.
Kids For Kids is a one-of-a-kind celebration in the West Village — complete with samplings from New York’s greatest restaurants, world-class artists and photographers, celebrities, and both old-fashioned and cutting-edge carnival activities. We raised $1.5 million which was the foundation’s target so are delighted with that. Jake, Elizabeth Glaser’s son was at the premiere and came to the carnival too. My kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves as you can see. I took photos of big donors each paying a small fortune all going to the foundation and then I helped out at a booth building survival kits to send to Africa, with everything from syringes to soap in it. I then read Toy Story to a young crowd at the Disney booth……. next year I hope to see you there too!
