Out this week in 8 different publications of Asia’s Tatler Magazine are a group of portraits I shot of the lovely designer Tory Burch at her home. Tory Burch has become a power house in the fashion world and her design aesthetic runs deeper than fashion – her home is a work of art. Every square inch is thought out and meticulously decorated but in a way that makes you want to hang out and relax. Despite her huge success, I have to say she is one of the most down to earth and charming people I have shot , did I mention she was easy on the eye too….. In fact on my way to the shoot that day I bumped into an old friend and photographer Mike Filonow, who was setting up for a Meat Packing fashion shoot and he mentioned that he had also shot Mrs Burch and she was terrific.
