Pamella Roland Campaign

For our third year in a row, we collaborated with Fashion Designer and good friend, Pamella DeVos, to create an exciting advertising campaign show casing her new Fall and Spring lines. The ads will be coming out in Harpers Bazaar, Elle magazine, Town & Country, The Robb Report, Gotham to name but a few. Our models were none other than Pamella’s lovely daughters and the whole shoot was a family affair! Dan DeVos lent us a car or two from his collection to accent the images and the whole shoot took place in the DeVos home town of Grand Rapids, Michigan. One of the many things that I love about the fashion industry is the fantasy, drama and excitement that it so often induces and this campaign had all the right elements. Goddess- like dresses, fast cars, jet planes, sky scrapers and of course beautiful girls. The idea behind the campaign was to capture confidence, sophistication and elegance, all three adjectives perfectly describing the brand of Pamella Roland. It is no surprise that the label dresses every top starlet and has become the must have look as detailed in the september issue of Town & Country.
We shot a total of 8 location shots over 2 days, which may not seem like a lot but when you see what goes in to a production of this scale, let me tell you it was hard work! All my crew and top Make Up artist Robert Greene flew out from NYC and our days started at the crack of dawn and we shot until the sun set at 9 pm……. I hope you’ll agree it was worth it -
