A Sealed Fate? in LA

Posted on May 7, 2009 - Filed Under Charity, HSUS, Studio NB

Next stop for the “Sealed Fate?” exhibit and film – Los Angeles! We were at Zune in Hollywood and the stars were out in force to support the seals. We have had a lot of good fortune recently what with the EU Ban, the Russian ban of hunting seals under a year of age, the Senate resolution and the Canadian senator proposing a bill to abolish the hunt. But that is exactly why we mustn’t slow down nor relax now. In fact at this tipping point we have to turn the heat on. Please continue to boycott Canadian seafood and sign the pledge at www.protectseals.org Together we can end this senseless slaughter.

“A Sealed Fate?” was a very touching exhibit. I commend you for all your wonderful work in not only photographing the seals but making the documentary. The documentary was very informative and got the message across beautifully without unnecessary violence and gore. In such a cruel hunt it is difficult to show the full effect of the horror without very graphic imagery, BUT YOU DID IT!

I am very glad I finally got to see the exhibit. It was great to meets Pat Ragan and John Grandy and hear about their experiences on the ice and a little bit more about yours as well.

I was glad to hear that the exhibit is going to keep moving around the country with Las Vegas in the works.

I am still amazed at what you, your team, and the HSUS has been able to achieve for this cause.

Really hope the exhibit makes it to Vegas soon!

It was a wonderful exhibit. And eye opening to what it is still happening to seals. Thank you for your work.
