The Tyra Banks Show

Just last week I went on my good friend Tyra Bank’s talk show to discuss the exhibition and film I shot for a little known charity called Edeyo. The Edeyo Foundation has built a school in Port Au Prince, Haiti, in the slum ironically named Bel Aire! Tyra sent a team from her talk show to cover the party and exhibition and the host was none other than ANTM contestant Bre. Thanks to Tyra the Edeyo Foundation’s profile and the plight of the Haitian people has been elevated. Unik the foundation’s founder, chairman and good friend of mine traveled to Haiti with me and my team and features heavily in the film we produced. Dear Nigel,
From one artist to another, thank you for your support of Haiti.
My company recently decided to host “A Night of Art and Giving to Help Haiti” as part of our International Caribbean Art Fair’s Gala Night, Friday, September 11, 2009, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Washington DC. This fundraising event is to support the many non-profit organizations working to better the lives of the Haitian people. Attendees to the event will be able to give to an organization of their choice. We are selecting a number of these organizations to participate in this drive.
One of my partners told me about the wonderful work you are doing in Haiti, and we would like to support your non-profit efforts by inviting you to join us. Please let me know where to direct more information and our formal invitation letter.
Thank you.

Nigel,
I plan to develop and educate myself in the art of photography through your inspiration. I have an adea for a non-profit organization that I want to create through photography here in the United States and plan to take it globally.
Thank you for inspiring me.
