Blossoming Beauties

I have been shooting the bold and beautiful as a fashion and portrait photographer for over fifteen years, but I have never been more captivated with my favorite muse than when she was pregnant. My wife and I have a little boy called, Jack. She is pregnant again, this time with a girl. I have photographed every aspect of the pregnancy and have been blown away by the innate nurturing, caring, loving nature not to mention the glorious transformation the female body goes through. It is no wonder the pregnant female form is worshiped in many cultures. So, I have embarked on an exclusive project to shoot a collection of portraits aimed at capturing the intimate, personal, voluptuous and magnificent elements of pregnancy celebrating all women. I aim to have an exhibition of the photos and produce a coffee table book with proceeds benefiting a charity supporting women during pregnancy. I imagine this is an ongoing project, but I aim to shoot this over the next 6 months to a year. So…… if you are pregnant or know of anyone that would like to be a part of this project, please submit photos or just get in touch with my studio manager, Alejandra Azios (AKA Ali!) at ali@studionb.com she is handling all the production on this exciting project. We are looking for candidates from all walks of life and any demographic. There is no religious bent to the project and we are not going to be judgmental in any way. Rather, we will try to take care of your needs and be sensitive to your feelings. All photo sessions will be on a “closed set” and you can be as revealing or un-revealing as you wish as long as it doesn’t stop us from seeing your beautiful body!
The photos will be retouched only to enhance your natural beauty and remove elements that are not always there (blemishes, etc.) which detract from the ultimate shot. We will also ask you to fill in a very short questionnaire about yourself and what the experience of being pregnant has meant to you………

I must say that I am truly a fan of ALL that you do and as an aspiring photographer I am amazed by your work and how you have excelled. I am planning to major in business and minor in photography and I would LOVE to have my own business such as Studio NB. I am very interested in fashion photography and also design. I do not have the portfolio to back up my dreams which is why I am contacting you. I know you are a VERY busy man but i would be extremely honored if you could contact me on how you made your dreams come true and where to START in this industry. I will ony be sixteen in January and I am in the second semester of my junior year so I am ahead of most people my age but as you know, people in the art field start very EARLY and I feel as though I am behind in that area. I understand that being a photographer isn’t merely taking pretty pictures but the art of capturing emotion. Just by following some of the things you do I am greatly inspired and I can’t wait to hear back from you.
