Save Our Seals

On Monday I traveled to Washington DC to campaign with the HSUS at a Save The Seal rally. The rally was outside the Canadian Embassy with several hundred friends and members of the protect seals team present to protest the dreadful manner in which the seals are killed. I spoke about my experiences on the ice with the seals during their birth and the horrendous experience of witnessing the baby seals being slaughtered just 12 days later. Once again I ask everyone to sign the Humane Society’s pledge to end the seal hunt and I ask all my friends and compassionate people around the world to boycott Canadian Seafood especially snow crab from Newfoundland and really put the squeeze on Canada. If the thought and reality of animal brutality is not enough to put them off the hunt then we have no alternative than to hit them where it hurts – in their wallets…………..

This is absolutely horrendous! I am glad to see that you all are taking a stand against this cruel act.
