Prom in The Windy City!

On the road again with David’s Bridal Prom this time we made a whistle stop tour of Chicago. Flying in late Thursday night we started our day on Friday with a 5.30 AM wake up call and a trip to the CW studios.
The fun really started though when we went to Conant High School where I was to make a guest appearance at their Prom show and answer a few questions. I also made a surprise visit to a photography class and chatted with the students about technique and the philosophy of photography! What I particularly liked about Conant’s Prom fashion show was the personalized MC-ing.
Next on the agenda was our stop at Fremd High School. Like at Conant the students here were extremely amped up and excited and the show was a blast. However I was particularly impressed by the fact that the majority of the Prom dresses had been made by the students and several had also cut the patterns for the gowns as well as stitched them! As some who have read my bio know I also learnt to sew, design, weave and cut patterns at high school and was the only boy in the class. There was only one boy in the Fremd class too……. some things never change!
It was quite a day with a final stop at the David’s Bridal store in Schaumburg with 2 hours meeting and greeting! Check the pics out and swing by next time we are in your neck of the woods!

Hello
I am trying to become a model and Don’t know the routes to go. If you have any suggestion please guide me into the right direction. The lights, the clothes, the people, the name: Model. There is nothing compared to the feel of eyes watching my every move, the warmth of the lights on my skin, and the excitement that comes with the flash of a camera. I knew from the minute I took my first picture, this is what I wanted to do with my life.
I realize that being a model is more than standing still and looking pretty – it is about making that woman in the second row want the dress I have on now. My look is not like every one else, I am your next door neighbor, I am the young woman standing in line at the grocery store, I am a normal woman and when I am in front of the camera or a crowd, I represent every normal woman out there left behind by the stereotype.
I have attached some pictures of my self for you review. If you need further information you can either contact me by email at lola_5520032000@yahoo.com or by phone at 954-243-1928.
Thank you
