The Make A Wish Foundation is very close to my heart

and in November we were lucky enough to grant
the wishes of 4 lovely girls. These girls have all fought against
the odds and their families have been right there with them. On the
wish day it is all about smiles and good memories for everyone
involved. And believe me it is no one man show. I rely on the
generosity of my team and colleagues in the fashion industry in order
to pull together a top notch high fashion experience for these
ladies. Seventeen magazine will be publishing shots from the day and
Ann Shoket (The Editor in Chief) sent her stylists to the shoot to
make sure everyone was fashionably clothed and booted! Have a look at

aw, that’s really awesome and inspiring. i have a brain tumor too [i'm 16] and it’s just really uplifting to see what the MAW foundation can do for girls like me! :]

To see her smiling like never before is a feeling will never be able to describe!! Hi my name is Gabbriela bonicichi one of the four girls who got to live this experience.My head goes crazy once i think of the good things life has yet to offer me.I am really thankful for the oppurtunity you guys gave me.Meeting Nigel-his wife Cristen-Caridee..etc..everyone! getting to go to NYC!! it was a dream that i did’nt want to wake up from.I never would of thought that all this i went through was actually going to bring something good into my life.My trip to NYC brought some light into my life and made me understand that not just because i’m sick i’m going to stop dreaming.That there are many reasons why i’m still alive and that even though i’m not how i use to be before i got sick, there are still a lot of Angel’s out there that bring many smiles into sad faces and that make a change in our life.This accomplished dream was sent to me from heaven. it’s incredible !,how the unexpected becomes the expected.I never expected this, never in my life i would of imagined myself really taking a photo shoot in Nyc with one of the BEST photographers today, Nigel Barker.I am now no longer shy, i am self confident about achieving any goal and never giving up.Never giving up on dreaming because that was my dream since i was little to be noticed see myself on newspaper.. wanting to make a better person of myself. making a differnce.I had so much fun!!” Thank you all so much!!!

Hi, I am one of Gabriela’s friends and i think she is Great. She has told me all about her experience in New York and about how she was very nervous. She told me about everything she did up there and about all the great people she met. She really had a great time. Im very sure that someday she will go far and become something big, well she pretty much already is. Thank you all so much for making her dream come true. She enjoyed it very much.

in Douglas, Arizona. I just wanted to thank Nigel and everyone who helped with this event for making Gabriella so happy and confident of herself. I honestly have never seen her as happy as she has been after returning home from New York. Lets just hope she continues on with her dream of being a very successfull model. I was amazed at everything that she did during her trip to New York, from riding in a limozine around the city to having a photoshoot with, you, Nigel Barker for Seventeen Magazine. Once again, Thank you so much for making a small town girl’s dream possible.

Hi my name is Adriana Rivera I’m a student at Douglas High School now i’m not a friend friend of Gaby but i think she’s a really nice girl even though i don’t know her that well to say what type of girl she is, you could tell that she’s wonderful!!i aleays see her in the halls saying hi to everyone weather she knows’ them or not.In lunch everyone sees her and her friends like a group they wish to be in.you could tell right away that Gaby has a lot of talent,i usually see her possing for the camera in many diffrent ways, just that of course she dose get nervous in front of some people.I just can’t wait for the day that i’m able to say “hey i went to school with that supper model!!!!” THANK YOU ALL!!! so much for makeing gaby’s wish come ture!!!!now she has a bigger reason to always have a smile in her face. may god bless you all!
hello my name is Cesar I’m one of Gabriela’s cousin,I don’t live near to Gaby so everytime i see her i see a big change in her.I think it’s something really cool because every time i see her,
her walking is better so that’s when i know that she’s been working hard in therapy.I know that she’s trying her best and getting everything she can out of her so that one day she’s able to walk how she use to so that she goes on with her dream.after coming back from her trip to NYC all she’s done is talk about it and put more from her part to acomplish her dream.she had a GREAT time over there and so did her family thank you all!
