I grew up watching Miss America, it was actually a big event in
England and especially in our household due to my Mum’s pageantry
past. I was thrilled to be a asked to Judge it and become apart of
such an American tradition! My fellow judges included Michael
Feinstein, Chris Matthews, Debbie Allen and Susan Powell. It was
certainly an impressive line up and an honor to be a long side such
heavy weights.

    I was curios as to who Mr. Barker’s mother might be since he mentions her being in pageants. Was she Sri Lankan?

    I am an American of Sri Lankan decent.
